Hello All!
I've decided to blog about my favourite beauty products I've been loving for the last three months. The reason why I decided to do it quarterly is because it gave me enough time to actually use, test and review each product. I hope you all enjoy my favourites and hope you can try some of them out. Let me know if you have any favourites too :-)
(1) Beauties Factory Blush and Contour Palette - I had rediscovered eBay and the enormous amount of cosmetics available just by the press of a few buttons. This palette has so many colour selections that it actually makes choosing a blush a challenging and fun task. I found myself also ditching my bronzers and highlighters and using the ones on this palette. I have to admit for the cheap price ($18AU) the value was amazing.
(2) Clinique Eye Cream - Apart from the smell (that you get past) this eye cream has been really good for my puffy eyes. I realised that when I had Maddy I am definitely not getting any younger and with a baby I'm pretty sure wrinkles will come sooner than expected. I started to use in hopes to delay the process. This was gift from my sister when she went to America but I'm pretty sure there's ones available here in Australia. The product is quite thick and heavy though so maybe when I am in South Korea (beauty heaven) I might find a replacement. Well see how I go.
(3) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in 030 Smitten Eprise - I love the look it gives my lips (like I just ate berries). It can be quiet heavy if you just apply it straight to the lips, but I usually wanted to go for a soft romantic look so I would just put some on my finger and dab it on the lips.
(4) John Freda, Frizz-Ease leave in Conditioning Spray - After I gave birth to Madeleine I soon found my hair lost all the nutrients and it became a huge challenge just to brush it after a shower, I had bought this in hopes to diminish that problem. You just spray some of the product onto your towel dried hair and brush out the knots. It helped and I saw the change significantly.
(5) Hyatt Beauty white lip and eye liner - I love using this to line the bottom rim of my eyes to brighten them tired eyes.
(6) Maybelline Lipstick in 045 pink me up - (im sorry i forgot what line of Maybelline lipsticks its from) a light pink colour for a day time neutral look.
(7) Urban Decay Naked 2 Eyeshadow Palette - I finally bit the bullet and splurged on buying this palette. It certainly lives up to the hype. The shadows are so pigmented and I found myself always reaching for this palette. The colours I use all the time are half baked, chopper and snakebite.
(8) Simple Eye Makeup Remover - Works wonders for that stubborn mascara that just doesn't want to go!
(9) Essence Nude Glam Nail Polish in 04 Iced Latte - As a few of you should know I am a huge fan of this brand. The nail polish is so opaque and great quality for the cheap price. I've been into the natural clean look on my nails and this nail polish has definitely been a favourite.
(10) Loreal True Match Super Blendable Powder in Warm, applied with my Bare Essentials Kabuki Brush - This powder has so much coverage and sets make up really well. I've been using the Kabuki brush to apply it on.
(11) Daisy Original by Marc Jacobs - This has been my summer choice of perfume. Everything about it represents the warmer season.
(12) Sunsilk Daring Volume Root Lifting Spray - For those days that you don't have time to style your flat hair. It gives quick and easy great volume without blow drying your hair.
(13) The Maybelline Falsies Volume Express Mascara In Flared - who needs eye lash extensions when you have this mascara??
(14) T.N Dickinson's All Natural Witch Hazel Toner - 100% natural, gentle on the skin and works for those stubborn pores!
(15) Fennel Body Butter in Strawberry - This had been recommended to me after I saw how expensive the Body Shop one was. If you want to feel like a smooth walking strawberry I recommend this one, perfect for those freshly shaved legs.
(16) Loreal Infallible Eye Shadow in 405 Pink Sapphire - So pigmented, long lasting and easy to apply with just a sweep of your finger. I used this colour when I wanted a natural fresh look (goes fantastic with 3. If you want that sweet natural look).
(17) Schwarzkopf Extra Care Leave In Oil Nutritive Anti Split Ends Serum - I was getting a lot of split ends with my dry hair and found that this oil nourished my hair and decreased the number of split ends I was getting.
(18) Mac Satin Lipstick in Brave - My turn to for a nude lip with dark eyes.
(19) Sunsilk Damage Defence Program Heat Defence Mist - Can I just say I'm a fan of Sunsilk hair care products. They work with my unruly hair. I've been spraying this on my hair before I used any heating products.
I wish i had your patience with beauty products. I used to love them then i got lazy. Lol
