DIY: Flower Crown

A very quick and easy DIY Tutorial on how to make your own Spring Trend - The Flower Crown.
Enjoy accessorizing your Spring outfits with this delicate hair piece.

Inspired: I was flipping through some Spring Fashion images and I came across this specific one (thank you Google Images!). There was something delicate and romantic about it that had me wanting one. Now if your not all Flower Power as I am, you can make your flowers as big and small, as extravagant or simple, till it fits your preference and style.
Verdict: I can't wait till Spring comes so I can finally wear it.

Materials You Will Need:
  • False Flowers (Dollar Store)
  • Jewellery Wire (Dollar Store)
  • Scissors
  • Plant Tape (Dollar Store) - Optional

Step One
Measure the circumference of your head and add 1" to the length, cut four lengths of your wire using this measurement.

Step Two
Twist all wires together and create a circle.

Step Three
Get your false flowers and individually wrap the stalk around the wire tightly.
Make sure that the flower is facing out rather than up so you can see the top of the flower when you wear it.

Continue this with the rest of the flowers.

Step Four
This step is optional.
Get the plant tape and start wrapping it around the wires tightly. This is to ensure that no wire will be seen.

And there you have it, your very own Floral Crown.
Enjoy Styling!

Flower Power!

  1. I love this! Great choice with the pink roses too, they're beautiful. I'm actually getting a flower delivery in Rockingham soon, so I'll have to see if I can use any of them to make one of these myself. I don't really know what I'd need a flower crown for, but I kinda want one!
