I actually found this recipe on YouTube, and out of all the choc-chip cookie recipe's I've tried, this hands down has got to be the best one.
I love making these cookies as a thank you gift, or for when I feel like a good treat.
Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups of flour
- 1.5 cups of white sugar
- 1.5 cups of choc-chips
- 1 cup of butter - room temperature
- 2 eggs - room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
Step One
Preheat your oven to 180* on a fan forced oven.
In a bowl combine your Flour, Baking Soda & Salt.
Step Two
Beat your Butter & Sugar together. Make sure not to over mix, just mix enough so that the two ingredients are combined.
Step Three
Put your mixer on low and add in your Eggs and Vanilla Essence.
Step Four
Making sure not to over mix, gradually mix in your dry ingredients.
Step Five
Add in your choc-chips, for this step you can just use your hands to mix.
Step Six
On your lined baking tray, roll your cookie dough into a ball, making sure they are all a similar size.
TIP: So that the dough doesn't stick to your hands, wet your hands before rolling your cookie dough.
Step Seven
Put them in the oven for 9-12 minutes (depending on your oven). Keep an eye on them.
If you want the chewy textured cookies (yum), make sure that the cookies are a bit undercooked.
Step Eight
Allow them to sit on the baking tray for a few minutes and then transfer them to a cooling rack.
Pigging Out!
Delicious with a glass of Milk. |
