Baby Babble : Someone is 9 Months today!

It's so weird to think that she will be turning 1 in just three months time. It feels like it was just yesterday when she couldn't even hold her own head up and needed assistance in burping, now she's moving around and babbling away like there is no tomorrow.
She has progressed so much last month, I'm finding it over whelming to keep up with her.
  • She is now sprouting another two teeth - Maddy now owns 4 teeth, 16 more to go until she has a full set.
  • She is now crawling - crawling like The Grudge, but still she is getting from point A to point B. I actually don't think she'll be crawling for long because she is now trying to stand up.
  • Standing up - After three days of her finally crawling she then started using all means of furniture and human legs as support to stand up.
  • Straws - She is now drinking from a straw, which is so convenient in terms of packing her nappy bag.
  • Grown Up Food - So oranges and rice is now a staple in her meals, she absolutely loves feeding herself pieces of orange.
  • Forms of communication and imitation - She's been imitating Mr Pham and I more than ever.
  • I now find when I read books to her she turns the pages and points at the pictures.
  • In terms of her appetite, it has certainly grown - she's been drinking less milk and more solids.
  • Routine Change - Madeleine wasn't due for a routine change until this month, but she had become more restless and woke up quite a few times through out the night, so I had updated her daily routine a few weeks early, which I will blog about in a later post.

Words cannot express how much I love her, getting up and out of bed early in the morning everyday is such a struggle, but as soon as her smiling face greets me good morning, it makes it all worth it. Seeing her laugh or copy everything I do warms my heart, and just when I thought I couldn't love her anymore, I see her peacefully sleeping. Why is she so wonderful?!

Can't seem to keep her hands to herself.

Peek-A-Boo!

Her favourite meal of the day - Oranges for dessert after dinner.

Madeleine enjoying her bedtime baths.

I can't wait until we hit the warmer seasons here in Australia, so I can take her to the beach.

Photo with her daddy.

Playing Peek-A-Boo with the bedsheets while mummy cleans the room.

Enjoying her own reflection in mummys mirror.

The most peaceful time of the day for mummy - nap time!
