DIY - Your own hair detangler

Now we all know how irritating and painful tangles can be... personally tangles are one of my biggest enemies; combing them out strips and creates split ends and with thin hair like mine this is what I definitely don't need.
Now there are a lot of different detangler sprays and hair products out there to help with these tangled problems, but why spend unnecessary $$ when you can make your own simple solution at home?
Here is a very simple and cheap DIY I have made to help cure your detangling needs, not to mention leaves your hair feeling silky soft! Enjoy :)

 You will need:

  • A spray bottle; You can purchase this at any discounters. I bought mine from Kmart for only $1.50!
  • Quality moisturizing conditioner; Just your everyday conditioner is fine :)

Now lets begin...

Step One

In your spray bottle put about 4 tablespoons of your chosen hair conditioner.
Fill about 3/4 of the bottle with water, put the lid back on and shake! shake! shake! to combine the solution.
Remember to shake it very well -  you don't want clumps of conditioner floating around in there.

Step Two

Spray in wet or dry hair evenly. Here I sprayed the solution in my freshly washed hair.

Step Three

Using a wide toothed comb, gently comb your hair from the ends working your way to the roots.
Remember to use a wide toothed comb; I know brushes seem to be easier and quicker, but the only reason why it is quicker and easier is because it strips and tears your hair creating split ends and thins out your hair rather than actually brushing the tangles out; trust me I was a big victim of this.

YAY! You've now made and used your own detangler. I hope this DIY has made it easier for you to comb out those crappy tangles.
